Hello friends! Welcome to My Fundraising Page
Stepping Up For A Cause
On October 2nd, I’m climbing 4,100 steps at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to support programs at the downtown Los Angeles YMCA.
The Ketchum-Downtown Y serves thousands of community members with programs like Preschool & Day Care, the Growing Young Minds afterschool program, teen programs, Youth & Government, Summer Resident Camp, youth sports, college prep, Community Health Fairs, and more.
The Coliseum is 98 years old, and it is a national historic landmark. The 1932 and 1984 Summer Olympics took place there. Two Super Bowls and a World Series were held there. It was home to the LA Dodgers for a couple of seasons in the early years. And I was there in 2008 for a Dodgers versus Red Sox game that made it into the Guinness Book of Records for the highest attendance at a baseball game!
I am looking forward to undertaking this challenge in this special venue, while supporting a worthy cause.
Please help support my efforts by donating today! Thanks! Diane
